About the role
3M is seeking an experienced OEM Key Account Sales professional to drive business growth with automotive OEM customers. You will shape sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and champion 3M solutions across the automotive sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies and plans for auto OEM accounts.
- Negotiate with OEMs, tier‑1 suppliers and channel partners.
- Promote 3M product solutions and manage the business pipeline.
- Collaborate with local and global teams to win new spec‑in opportunities and sustain key‑account growth.
- Collect market intelligence and stay abreast of automotive industry developments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in mechanical, electronic, chemical engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a sales engineer or business developer in the automotive industry.
- Experience with auto electrification is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of customer segments and their needs.
- Advanced communication, influencing and selling abilities.
- Proficient written and spoken English.
