Module Process Engineer – English & Korean Speaking

About the role

Applied Materials is looking for a Module Process Engineer to lead and solve customer high‑value processes (HVPs) across its Wuxi and Shanghai sites. The role requires fluency in English and Korean and deep expertise in DDP/Etch technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and resolve customer HVPs throughout development, transfer, ramp and high‑volume manufacturing, focusing on yield, output and cost.
• Increase CSA value by reducing defects, variability and COO, and by optimizing process Cpk and output.
• Drive continuous improvement projects, capture learnings, and create best‑practice knowledge for the business.
• Collaborate with field functions (FSO, TSE, etc.) to meet performance KPI and gross‑margin targets.
• Provide root‑cause diagnostics for complex tool issues and support process‑related escalations.

Required profile

• Specialized depth or breadth of expertise in DDP/Etch processes.
• Fluent in Korean (verbal and written) and English.
• More than 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing.
