Middle School Design Teaching Assistant (Tier 2)

About the role

The Western Academy of Beijing is seeking a local national Teaching Assistant to support the Design department for Middle School classes. The role starts immediately and involves working closely with teachers, students, and parents to facilitate a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering small‑group instruction.
• Support students individually or in groups for reading, math, and differentiated activities.
• Manage classroom equipment, materials, bulletin boards, and Moodle sites.
• Supervise students during assemblies, drills, field trips, and other school duties.
• Perform administrative tasks such as preparing teaching materials, typing, photocopying, laminating, printing, and filing.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and ability to build good relationships with staff, students, and parents.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• High School Certificate or equivalent.

What we offer

• Annual gross salary of 90,000 RMB.
