Chemistry Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a Chemistry Teacher to deliver secondary‑level chemistry instruction at our international school in Beijing. The role begins in August 2027 and runs for the 2027/2028 academic year, offering a dynamic, bilingual learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging chemistry lessons and lectures.
• Design, administer and grade assessments, providing clear report comments.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school curriculum.
• Monitor student progress, set targets and offer constructive feedback to learners and their families.
• Create a supportive and safe classroom atmosphere that encourages inquiry.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to teach in a bilingual setting.
• Minimum two years experience as the lead teacher in a classroom.
• Commitment to fostering academic excellence and student wellbeing.
