About the role

The NPI Project Manager will lead the full‑scale industrialisation of new products from R&D through to mass‑production delivery, ensuring timely market launch, on‑time delivery and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end NPI plans, define objectives, timelines, risks and organise cross‑functional kick‑offs.
• Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFMA) and early involvement activities.
• Design and validate production processes (SMT, pre‑assembly, functional testing, etc.) and create PFMEA, control plans, process flow charts and work instructions.
• Drive technical problem‑solving during trial runs using 8D, 5‑Why and other root‑cause tools.
• Coordinate material and supply‑chain activities, monitor material availability and set up warning systems for long‑lead items.
• Hand over the product to SOP, manage ramp‑up, track performance and pursue continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of automotive or related NPI project management experience, with hands‑on responsibility for at least two projects.
• Proven use of project‑management tools (charter, risk management, etc.); PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as SMT, coating, milling, functional testing, EOL and dispensing.
• Fluent English and good cross‑functional communication skills.
