Master Planner

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Master Planner to lead capacity planning and resource coordination for its Kunshan operations. The role focuses on long‑term capacity balancing, material readiness, and ensuring on‑time delivery of sales orders while supporting sustainable production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term capacity plans based on delivery forecasts and backlog status, aligning resources to meet company targets.
• Balance capacity by monitoring actual order status and adjusting plans to optimize utilization.
• Control material flow by coordinating with procurement and production to guarantee material availability before manufacturing starts.
• Review and audit sales orders, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any changes or abnormalities.
• Organise, follow up and monitor the execution of approved production plans, escalating issues that may affect delivery.
• Lead weekly master planning meetings with cross‑functional teams to resolve exceptions and keep the plan on track.
• Participate in monthly S&OP meetings to update and adjust the master plan according to the latest business information.
• Contribute to performance and improvement meetings, focusing on slow‑moving and obsolete inventory items.
