Manufacturing Engineer – MAE Productivity & Digital Projects

About the role
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Bosch Group in Suzhou, you will drive productivity improvements across the MAE and Direct production lines. You will lead system‑CIP and digital projects, applying AI‑based solutions to optimise line balance, machine parameters and overall equipment effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Design optimal line configurations and achieve yearly cycle‑time targets.
- Lead line‑balance activities, including high‑runner changes and daily machine‑parameter optimisation using AI tools.
- Analyse work loading, reduce standard headcount and improve direct productivity.
- Implement standardized work (PQI, Stab), continuous improvement and QCO time reduction.
- Manage KPI dashboards for MAE and Direct productivity, including Power BI visualisations.
- Plan workforce and overtime, oversee attendance management.
- Drive digital transformation projects for data visualisation, process simplification and efficiency gains.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in industrial engineering, productivity analysis or similar roles.
- Proven ability to manage projects and solve complex problems.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- Power BI for KPI reporting.
- AI/Industry 4.0 solutions for production optimisation.
