Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Support daily operation and maintenance of process equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with safety and EHS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze equipment failures, lead root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Execute preventive maintenance plans, maintain accurate records and organize after‑action review meetings.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to minimize production impact and respond promptly to unexpected failures.
• Maintain maintenance documentation, inspection reports, operating logs and permits.
• Analyze product and time loss, provide clear problem statements for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably multinational.
• Hands‑on experience with equipment troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Strong safety awareness, ability to work under pressure and willingness to respond to urgent on‑site issues.

Required skills

• Mechanical knowledge: pneumatic/servo systems, bearings, gears, chains, belts, couplings, and ability to read technical drawings.
• Electrical knowledge: PLC, servo, smart camera, AOI configuration and debugging.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and documentation (SOP, MTBF, MTTR reports).
• Familiarity with CMMS maintenance systems.
• Problem analysis and solution implementation skills.
