About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a Procurement Quality Engineer to drive preventive quality activities for new projects and engineering change requests. You will work closely with the RB project team and external suppliers to ensure technical and quality requirements are met before series production.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and release preventive quality measures for new projects and ECRs.
• Lead technical discussion meetings with project teams and suppliers to clarify quality requirements.
• Assess and confirm supplier technical capability before awarding contracts.
• Review PPAP documentation, including P‑FMEA and control plans.
• Manage process release at supplier sites and sign off PPAP releases for purchased parts.
• Resolve component‑related quality issues prior to SOP.
• Define and monitor safe‑launch activities and incorporate lessons learned from previous projects.
• Report preventive quality topics to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering with at least 3 years of experience in mechanical component sourcing or supplier quality management; automotive background is a plus.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and preventive quality processes.
• Proven project‑management abilities: planning, coordination, prioritisation and clear communication.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications and convey them to suppliers.
• Professional English proficiency and experience with SAP.
• Proactive, independent yet collaborative, and flexible to travel when needed.
