Low Latency Software Developer

About the role

AlphaGrep Securities is looking for a Low Latency Software Developer to join its Shanghai infrastructure team. You will help design and build proprietary trading applications that are both robust and extremely fast.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test ultra‑low latency software, including trading strategy simulation tools optimized for distributed computation.
• Build large‑scale data acquisition, storage, accessibility, and visualization pipelines.
• Implement real‑time trade management and risk analysis components.
• Collaborate with quantitative traders, researchers and other developers in cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on C++ software development experience.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented design, data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and a passion for new technologies.
