Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to oversee and improve inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring cost‑effective and seamless operations across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of EHS regulatory requirements and emergency response standards for internal and external logistics.
• Coordinate departments to standardise import/export procedures in line with AEO certification and prepare for advanced certification audits.
• Prepare customs declarations and documentation for import deliveries.
• Assist the customer service team with export delivery management, troubleshooting and complaint handling.
• Manage daily logistics operations, including outbound/inbound deliveries, technical logistics, isotank fleet supervision, and loading/unloading processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants, logistics service providers and customers to facilitate safe iso‑tank operations and bulk business development.
• Investigate logistics service complaints, implement corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness.
• Renew logistics‑related certifications such as IMI on an annual basis.
• Produce monthly KPI reports and drive continuous improvement of third‑party logistics providers.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and develop efficient logistics models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a chemical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in international logistics, preferably within a regional or global multinational company.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
