Lead Architect – 建筑设计师 (BLS)

About the role

The Lead Architect will oversee multiple building projects, ensuring that designs meet client expectations and regulatory standards in China. This role combines strategic site planning with hands‑on documentation and coordination across disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design for several concurrent projects.
• Develop overall site and spatial planning concepts.
• Create detailed design and documentation packages for various building types.
• Manage team members, including LDI, to ensure code‑compliant documentation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and external consultants to deliver complete building solutions.
• Identify potential issues early and implement preventive measures.
• Apply lateral thinking to balance safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Visit construction sites as needed for measurements, meetings, and development sessions with clients and authorities.

Required profile

• Proven ability to design, document, and detail buildings and sites in China.
• Experience producing documents suitable for inclusion in work packages.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Capability to write clear, logically structured design reports.
