IT System Technician

About the role

LifeByte Systems is looking for an IT System Technician to administer and support internal IT services and SaaS platforms. The full‑time position can be based in either Shenzhen or Shanghai and will focus on Microsoft 365, Jira, and endpoint management.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune policies, Windows Autopilot, Conditional Access, and licence assignment.
• Administer Jira, set up workflows, permissions, user roles, and integrate Jira with other tools; manage Jira Service Management queues, SLAs and automation.
• Maintain single sign‑on and identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and other SAML/SCIM integrations.
• Implement security policies such as password standards, MFA, encryption, and conduct regular security audits.
• Manage user and system lifecycle processes, including onboarding, off‑boarding, role assignment and access removal.
• Deploy and support Windows, Android, and Apple devices via Microsoft Intune and Jamf, enforcing compliance policies.
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell, Bash, and Jira/JSM automation rules.
• Support compliance initiatives (GDPR, HIPAA) and participate in internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration or IT systems configuration.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Jira Service Management.
• Familiarity with SSO technologies, especially Azure AD, and cybersecurity best practices.
