About the role

The IT Operations Specialist will manage and support the branch office's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of hardware, software, and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Process IT service requests and incidents following ITSM standards.
• Escalate complex hardware/software issues to vendors or corporate IT.
• Implement data security policies, manage data access and device security.
• Monitor on‑premises infrastructure (network, servers, core systems) for optimal performance.
• Manage server room operations, backups, and hardware replacement plans.
• Oversee full lifecycle of hardware and software assets using asset management tools.
• Deliver IT training and create user guides to improve cybersecurity awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting IT functions in a branch office environment.
• Good communication skills in Chinese and English.

Required skills

• Network protocols and devices (Cisco, H3C, Extreme Networks).
• Networking services: DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VoIP.
• Microsoft Windows Server platform: Active Directory, Office365, WSUS, GPO.
• Linux environment.
• Virtualization with hypervisors (VMware preferred).
