iOS Software Engineer II – Growth Team

About the role

Duolingo is looking for an iOS Software Engineer II to join the Momentum team within International Growth. You will build and ship features that drive user growth and deliver high‑quality learning experiences to millions of learners worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to create engaging, growth‑focused experiences.
• Develop, release, and maintain native iOS applications primarily using Swift.
• Run experiments and analyze metrics such as daily active users (DAU) to improve product performance.
• Participate in code reviews and work across teams to ensure quality and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience programming in Swift.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Willingness to relocate to Beijing, China.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
