Internal Auditor – Retail Business

About the role

As a Store Auditor you will lead the global store audit programme across Sonova’s retail network in China. Reporting to the Finance Director, Retail China, you will ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and legal requirements while identifying operational risks and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute annual store audits based on risk assessments and KPIs.
• Monitor store key figures and perform continuous data analyses to detect anomalies early.
• Conduct on‑site audits to verify compliance with company policies and legal standards.
• Provide recommendations to mitigate fraud, optimise operations and protect company assets.
• Prepare and present audit reports and action‑plan updates to senior management and store teams.
• Carry out special audits and investigations as ad‑hoc compliance or fraud issues arise.
• Participate in the global store audit community, sharing best practices and aligning with international standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in internal audit, preferably within a retail or consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify risk patterns.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting findings to diverse stakeholders.
