IATF 16949 Auditor

About the role

BSI is seeking an experienced automotive professional to conduct IATF 16949 management system assessments for our certification clients. You will play a key part in ensuring compliance, delivering clear findings, and supporting clients in maintaining high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake management system assessments in line with BSI requirements.
• Prepare detailed assessment reports and communicate findings to clients, providing clear corrective‑action guidance.
• Recommend issuance, re‑issuance or withdrawal of certificates according to BSI policy and timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong client partnerships to encourage business development and client satisfaction.
• Provide accurate information to support services, ensuring client records are complete and up‑to‑date.
• Plan and schedule workloads to maximise revenue‑generating activities.
• Continuously maintain and develop assessment skills and knowledge of technical standards.

Required profile

• Automotive industry professional holding an IATF 16949 auditor qualification from CCAA.
• Minimum two years of experience in quality system management within a certification body.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an automotive‑related field or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong understanding of business processes and management system standards.
