Hub Operations Training Leader

About the role

Join Hitachi Energy’s Transformer Business Unit to shape the training landscape for our Hub Operations. You will design and execute a comprehensive training strategy that elevates blue‑collar skills across multiple factories, ensuring high‑quality, standards‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Hub Operations training strategy, framework and roadmap.
• Lead the Blue‑Collar S‑OJT program rollout across all factories and coordinate with external consultants to create a Train‑the‑Trainer course.
• Validate and improve the Job Breakdown List to meet program standards.
• Support factories in delivering qualified trainees and monitor S‑OJT execution for compliance.
• Define, track and analyse KPIs to measure training effectiveness and operational impact.
• Assess training process maturity and drive continuous improvement.
• Gather stakeholder feedback, prepare course materials with SMEs and ensure content relevance.
• Implement ITM and Continuous Improvement elements related to People Capabilities, Employee Engagement and Standard Work.
• Administer the LMS (Mylearning) data, ensure correct usage and maintain training records.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations, upholding safety and integrity.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering training programs for manufacturing or blue‑collar environments.
• Strong ability to coordinate with external consultants and internal subject‑matter experts.
• Analytical mindset with experience defining and monitoring training KPIs.
• Familiarity with LMS administration and data management.
• Knowledge of ITM, continuous improvement practices and standard work concepts.
• Commitment to safety, integrity and compliance.
