HR Generalist

About the role

Corning’s global Human Resources function is seeking an HR Generalist to act as a trusted partner for designated functional client groups. The role will manage the full employee life‑cycle, from talent acquisition through development, performance management, employee relations and compliance, while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead hiring and onboarding for assigned client groups, partner with hiring managers, manage interview processes, vendor relationships and candidate experience, and track recruitment metrics.
• Drive execution of individual development plans, coordinate internal training sessions and build team capabilities.
• Oversee probation periods, coordinate performance evaluations, manage the performance development and review cycle, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR information systems, respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies.
• Organise employee engagement activities, support HR projects such as policy reviews and updates.
• Support SOX‑related audits, ensure HR processes meet legal and corporate standards, and communicate policy changes.
• Promote AI‑enabled HR solutions to improve efficiency and employee experience.
• Perform other HR‑related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Experience acting as an HR business partner with responsibility for talent acquisition, development, performance management and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, audit requirements and policy administration.
• Ability to manage data tracking, reporting and HR digital initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
