Head of China Communications

About the role

Lead LEGO’s Communications team in China, shaping the core narrative for the brand while aligning with global standards. You will build consumer and corporate trust across the market and act as the primary spokesperson for Chinese media.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy that supports commercial growth and strengthens reputation.
• Serve as the communication partner to the LEGO China General Manager and senior adviser to the China BU Leadership Team.
• Act as the single point of contact for Chinese media and external stakeholders, serving as the media spokesperson.
• Build and advance corporate reputation through proactive storytelling around creativity, sustainability, social impact and business strategy.
• Lead communications planning and execution for major brand campaigns, product launches, partnerships and cultural moments.
• Partner closely with China BU marketing, Global Brand Development and Corporate Brand Communications to maximise earned media impact.

• Skilled communicator with a strong network among top‑tier media in China.
• Proven people‑leadership experience, able to inspire and develop a high‑performing communications team.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions in China and globally.
• Experience managing both external (consumer & corporate) and internal communications.
