Ground Test Engineer

About the role

The Ground Test Engineer ensures safe and efficient execution of ground and flight acceptance tests on series aircraft. Working on both cockpit and cabin, the role supports production and delivery phases to achieve the Certificate of Airworthiness. The position also contributes to in‑service aircraft testing when required.

Key responsibilities

• Perform GTI static checks, engine destorage, engine run, compass swing, and low‑speed taxi checks during production.
• Conduct high‑speed taxi checks, rejected take‑offs, and cabin tests for first and subsequent flights.
• Execute ground checks and cabin tests during customer acceptance flights in line with the Customer Acceptance Manual.
• Ensure cabin safety throughout production and delivery flights.
• Collaborate with Flight Test Engineers, present technical status to customers, and complete the Aircraft Technical Logbook.

Required profile

• University degree in aeronautics, mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in civil aviation engineering operations.
• Very good English communication skills.
• Integrity and rigorous work ethic.

Required skills

• Good understanding of Airbus aircraft systems and their test methods.
• Ability to execute ground test procedures such as GTI static checks, engine run, and compass swing.
