Global Costing & Controlling Specialist

About the role

This position is responsible for end‑to‑end costing governance at a global level within HARMAN Lifestyle. You will ensure the accuracy of costing‑related master data and SAP MM condition records, supporting reliable standard costs throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SAP MM condition records for freight, duty, ICM and tariffs globally, ensuring correct access sequences and compliant setups.
• Partner with Global Supply Chain to maintain master data integrity for all materials used in standard cost runs.
• Monitor monthly new SKU costing, identify and resolve missing or incorrect cost entries.
• Control NPI SKU costing updates at Gate 4 and verify standard cost accuracy before product SOP.
• Review material ledger variances (purchase price, freight, duty, tariff, ICM) weekly/bi‑weekly and coordinate resolution with regional teams.
• Lead improvements to size/dimension data maintenance in SAP, collaborating with Packaging, PMO and Supply Chain.
• Assist the Costing Manager with annual standards roll and budget‑cost cycles, validating master data and operational inputs.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance controlling or cost accounting, preferably in a global manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with SAP modules related to costing and material ledger.
• Ability to collaborate with supply chain, procurement and regional finance teams.
• Attention to detail and capability to resolve data inconsistencies quickly.
