GL Accountant (GS)

About the role

The General Ledger Accountant (GS) will manage daily and monthly GL operations, ensuring accurate period‑end closing and timely financial reporting for our Suzhou location.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily and monthly General Ledger activities, including accruals, balance‑sheet reconciliation and suspense account clearing.
• Coordinate and monitor period‑end closing workflows against predefined timetables.
• Prepare and submit financial statements and ad‑hoc reports for local management and headquarters.
• Provide financial support to Business Partners and assist the tax team with statutory reporting and filings.
• Handle internal filing coordination, Bonaparte approval administration, and other tasks assigned by the GL Team Lead and Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably across multiple finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and PRC GAAP, with experience preparing financial statements.
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively within a team.
