Finance Controller – Business Unit (Wuxi)

About the role

The Business Unit Finance Controller will manage the financial operations of the BU in Wuxi, ensuring accurate budgeting, month‑end closing, reporting and tax compliance to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle SAP‑based sales invoicing, posting and processing of all invoice types, including credit/debit notes.
• Perform month‑end closing, reconcile SAP billing with goods receipt data and ensure data consistency.
• Manage domestic and export VAT invoicing and coordinate export tax refund activities.
• Prepare specialized sales statistics and management reports.
• Develop and maintain the annual BU financial budget and capex investment budget, track monthly forecasts and provide analysis.
• Track capex investments, including planning, justification and post‑investment review.
• Support global strategic projects, sales quotation processes and sales model improvements.
• Ensure engineer cost recovery, TSA/TCA processes and maintain local engineer/testing rates.
• Assist audits and tax compliance activities and handle ad‑hoc finance tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting and month‑end closing.
• Strong knowledge of SAP invoicing and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with VAT, export tax refunds and tax compliance.
• Ability to produce accurate forecasts and support strategic decision‑making.
• Experience collaborating across departments and supporting audit processes.
