Finance Controller - Automotive Seating JV

About the role

Adient is hiring a Finance Controller to be seconded to ADNNG (WFCH303), an Adient joint venture in China, as Finance Controller under the agreement of the JV. The role strengthens financial control and provides business support for the JV, working as a business partner to the General Manager and leading the financial operations of the related entity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end financial reporting, forecasts, profit plans and strategic plans of the entity, as required by Adient
• Analyse financial results on profits, trends and costs, and monitor performance against the approved budget
• Drive operational and commercial improvements and develop financial strategies supporting business growth
• Manage new business quotations so that profitability and return on investment meet Adient and JV Board requirements
• Interface with internal and external auditors and local tax authorities
• Build the competence of the local finance team through coaching, training and mentoring

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or above
• 5-8 years of experience in financial and business management, including at least 2 years as Finance Controller
• Manufacturing experience is a must; automotive industry experience is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent English and Chinese
