Field Quality Engineer – Service & Reliability

About the role

We are seeking a Field Quality Engineer to improve service quality, customer satisfaction, and equipment reliability across our installed base. The role links field service teams, engineering, manufacturing, quality organizations, and customers to drive root‑cause investigations and sustainable corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze field service data, customer feedback, and equipment performance trends to identify quality improvement opportunities.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions for recurring product and service issues.
• Partner with field service, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Improve service documentation, lessons learned, and knowledge assets to enable effective troubleshooting.
• Develop and track quality metrics, dashboards, and action plans to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, field service engineering, or related technical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; capable of influencing across functions without direct authority.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• ASQ certification.
• Root‑cause analysis and data‑driven problem solving.
