Facility Technician

About the role

As a Facility Technician at Emerson you will ensure the reliable operation of all critical building systems, from HVAC and electrical to compressed air and fire protection. You will work closely with technicians, contractors and internal teams to keep facilities running smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, compressed air, water treatment, fire protection and other facility systems.
• Ensure compliance with local safety, environmental, fire‑protection and construction regulations and address any non‑conformities promptly.
• Provide immediate technical support for alarms, breakdowns and emergencies; lead root‑cause analysis and develop contingency plans for critical equipment.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise facility improvement projects, system retrofits and infrastructure preparation for new equipment, managing budget and schedule.
• Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability, energy efficiency and maintenance effectiveness while managing spare‑parts inventory, maintenance resources and vendor contracts.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by the company.

Required profile

• Solid experience in building and facility management with hands‑on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, compressed air, fire protection and water treatment systems.
• Self‑motivated, able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills; willingness to respond to off‑work emergency calls.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
