Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads the housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring every guest room meets the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This role combines team leadership, operational management, and guest service excellence within a dynamic hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a dedicated housekeeping and laundry team.
• Maintain and order supplies and equipment while minimizing waste to support green initiatives.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning to maximise profitability.
• Handle special guest requests, including VIP and repeat visitor needs.
• Participate in deep‑cleaning projects and support the team during peak periods.
• Educate staff on compliance with federal, state, and local laws and safety standards.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Business language and tools acumen.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a catering or hospitality setting.
• Direct supervisory experience over a team.
• Ability to speak the local language(s); additional brand‑specific qualifications may apply.
