Equipment Engineer

About the role

One Mobility Group is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join its manufacturing site in Taicang, China. You will work in a global, innovative environment, supporting the installation, acceptance and continuous improvement of production equipment for electrified mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install and accept new production equipment according to project specifications.
• Analyse monthly equipment fault data and develop preventive‑maintenance plans, including mould replacement and consumable management.
• Collaborate with production, quality and project teams to meet equipment, tooling and fixture requirements.
• Monitor and optimise equipment performance metrics such as MTTR, MTBF, OEE and downtime.
• Train operators on proper maintenance and rational use of machines and installations.
• Report progress on new equipment imports and activities to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive component industry.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written) and comfortable using PC office applications.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability and teamwork orientation.
