Enriched Inclusion Program Lead Teacher

About the role

The Western Academy of Beijing is launching an Enriched Inclusion Program (EIP) to support students with intensive educational needs, including twice‑exceptional learners. The EIP Lead Teacher will provide strategic leadership, coordinate services, and oversee the program’s development across early years to grade 12.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the EIP, advising on physical space adaptations and service coordination.
• Case‑manage students enrolled in the program, ensuring individualized support plans.
• Collaborate with the School‑Wide Educational Psychologist, Student Support Services Coordinator, and Deputy Director to align the program with school mission.
• Develop and maintain a long‑range vision, policies, and procedures for inclusive education.
• Facilitate professional development and team meetings to promote inclusive practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in special education, inclusive education, or a related field.
• Inclusive Needs teacher certification.
• Minimum five years of experience delivering inclusive programs for intensive‑need or twice‑exceptional students.
• Proven leadership experience coordinating support‑service programs.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
