English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Teacher – Harbin

About the role

We are seeking an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) teacher to join our international academic team at a partner university in Harbin, China. The role begins in September 2026 and supports undergraduate students in developing the academic English skills needed for global higher‑education pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the EAP curriculum to Year 1‑3 undergraduate students.
• Support development of academic reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
• Facilitate tutorials, English Corner sessions, and student engagement activities.
• Assist students preparing for the Direct Entry Program (DEP).
• Co‑teach alongside local academic staff and collaborate with branch managers and learning support teams.
• Participate in academic research and professional development initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (minimum requirement).
• Recognised TESOL, TEFL or CELTA qualification.
• At least three years of teaching experience, preferably in higher education.
• Experience teaching IELTS or EAP is preferred; IELTS experience may be considered.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
