Embedded HSM Security Development Engineer (ETAS)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Embedded HSM Security Development Engineer to join our vehicle security team in Shanghai. You will work on Bosch’s HSM solution for Chinese automotive customers, delivering secure embedded software and supporting regional regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop features and modules for the Vehicle HSM solution tailored to Chinese market needs.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, writing clean, testable C/C++ and Python code within Scrum and DevOps processes.
• Support customers by implementing requested features and providing technical assistance.
• Monitor Chinese security laws and regulations, informing the global product team of regional updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of embedded software development experience in the automotive industry or in embedded cybersecurity.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both Chinese and English.
• Proven ability to work with senior executives and global technical leaders.
• Willingness to travel and balance high‑impact work with a collaborative mindset.
