ELDS Sales Specialist - PB & EU

About the role

This remote Sales Specialist position covers the ELDS business in the Shanghai area and reports to the Sales Manager. You will sell products, systems and services within a designated market or division, achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets while developing new sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Sell systems and solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units and Product Groups.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, explain full system offerings and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Prepare sales plans, review status regularly and propose recovery plans for potential order shortfalls.
• Use effective sales techniques to close transactions, contracts and proposals, and communicate delivery times, payment terms and general conditions in line with ABB's offering.
• Drive new market opportunities, share know-how and collaborate across teams, and identify and promote digital sales opportunities.
• Manage administrative procedures in sales, support collection and project management when needed, and prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or Marketing Manager.
• Ensure the technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices, trading conditions, product portfolio and digital solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree, with qualification or relevant successful experience in related industries.
• Strong sales competency with digital capability and know-how.
• Passion and strong learning agility for keeping up with the latest information.
