Pricing Development Team Lead

About the role

ABB is looking for a Pricing Development team lead in Beijing, reporting to the Pricing Manager. The role leads the pricing deployment team, implements the price and rebate policy and price actions in daily sales order operations, drives continuous improvement through process and system excellence and AI engagement, and coaches and manages team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the pricing deployment team to implement price and rebate policies according to business and audit/integrity rules
• Handle special discount quote checks and releases into the system, including SOX controls
• Support area sales people by clarifying price and rebate policies, solving system errors and giving guidance on special situations, while controlling data and sharing it only with relevant people
• Coordinate with Sales, Products, Logistics, Finance and other functions to improve pricing operational excellence
• Prepare accurate and timely reports such as monthly sales reports, sales personnel appraisals and distributor/customer performance reports
• Support internal control and audit tracking requirements
• Coach and manage team members for performance and capability development

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 to 8 years of experience in an operational or junior leadership position
• Leadership and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work independently
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Fluent English

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce and Excel is a priority
• Project management skills to drive process excellence
