Director of Sales – Corporate

About the role

The Shangri-La Hotel Beijing is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales – Corporate to lead its sales team and drive revenue growth across all corporate channels. This senior position reports to senior hotel leadership and plays a pivotal role in shaping the hotel’s market positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously refine the sales strategy to maximise hotel revenue.
• Participate in business reviews, annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Present hotel performance metrics to senior leadership and regional sales teams on a monthly basis.
• Lead, motivate and develop the sales team, ensuring high standards of service and sales execution.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and drive brand consistency across all sales channels.
• Optimise branding, revenue streams and sales channel performance for the property.

Required profile

• Passion for sales and marketing within the hospitality sector.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Self‑driven, goal‑oriented and comfortable challenging the status quo.
• Upholds professional ethics, integrity and strong interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar senior sales role.
• Deep understanding of global and local market dynamics.
• Fluent written and spoken English and the local language.
