Director, Existing Seller Management

About the role

Coupang is looking for a senior e-commerce executive to lead Existing Seller Management within its China Global Selling business. The role is responsible for designing, building and driving growth in this sector, covering business strategy, budget oversight, resource structuring and management of diverse business teams. Key responsibilities

• Provide a strategic vision for existing seller growth and cultivate relationships with key internal and external partners.
• Own the end-to-end design of the existing seller strategy and execution to grow thousands of Chinese sellers onto Coupang.
• Set parameters and give guidance on customer and seller experience, organization structure, account management, merchandising and the technology roadmap, and drive systematic improvements.
• Build and develop future leaders, and raise the bar for existing team members.
• Drive innovation and entrepreneurship, and use competitive analysis to define and implement long-term business strategies.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience running sales and account management organizations.
• Proven track record of running complex businesses end-to-end with strong P&L experience.
• Strong third-party seller management background with a proven ability to drive growth and scale.
• Experience negotiating with large, medium and small brands and sellers, and building high-performing diverse teams.
• Fluent in Mandarin; good command of business English preferred.
