Data Engineer - AI

About the role

The Data Engineer – AI will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytical solutions that turn large, unstructured data sets into actionable business insights. You will work closely with cross‑functional data science and engineering teams to deliver predictive models and visualizations that drive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee data mining using modern tools and programming languages.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models of moderate complexity and monitor their performance.
• Implement models to uncover patterns and create business value.
• Partner with data engineering teams to build and improve data pipelines, data quality, and metrics.
• Create visualizations and communication materials for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Lead project teams of data science professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Identify and recommend methodological improvements, new data sources, and model refinements.

Required profile

• Four‑year or graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, or a related discipline.
