Customs Supervisor – Import/Export Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Customs Supervisor to lead our import and export customs operations for both flying parts and non‑flying materials. The role reports to the Customs Compliance Manager and is responsible for ensuring all customs declarations and inspections are performed in line with the latest regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain operational standards for import and export customs processes of flying parts and non‑flying materials.
• Develop and improve customs procedures for new business lines and special requests.
• Monitor latest customs policies, report changes to management, and adjust processes accordingly.
• Prepare documentation required for AEO compliance and internal audits.
• Support audits and inspections by providing necessary customs documents.
• Organise and lead the customs team, providing technical support and troubleshooting.
• Validate shipping documents, classify tariff numbers and Chinese product names, and coordinate with procurement and suppliers.
• Enter and verify import/export declaration data in SAP (PCH) and the CTM system.
• Maintain and continuously improve the customs management system, driving digital transformation initiatives.
• Update the customs logbook, query single‑window information, and assist with physical goods inspections, including dangerous goods.
• Communicate customs monitoring regulations to other departments and manage file archiving.
• Settle accounts with external customs service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (CET‑4 English proficiency preferred).
• At least 8 years of experience in customs operations.
• Minimum 5 years of team‑leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of import/export customs policies and HS‑code classification.
• Familiarity with customs trade logbooks, single‑window platforms, and equipment import/export processes.
• Basic understanding of air and sea transportation flows.
• Fluent oral and written English.
