Customer Support Technical Trainer

About the role

The Customer Support Technical Trainer delivers specialized training both on‑site and at customer locations, supporting Applied Materials' semiconductor and display equipment. The role involves travel, classroom and lab management, and ensuring safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Present technical training courses domestically and internationally, managing classroom and lab activities to meet course objectives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, create and improve technical documentation, and certify trainees on multiple platforms.
• Provide technical expertise for system repairs, ensure safety retrofits, and support engineering with ECO reviews and documentation generation.
• Mentor junior instructors, lead small projects, and contribute to customer relationship building and sales of training services.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in technical training delivery and instructional design.
• Ability to travel (approximately 10% of the time) and work flexible hours, including off‑shift or weekends as needed.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and capability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity.
