Customer Quality Manager

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Customer Quality Manager to act as the primary advocate for our customers within the CPS manufacturing and quality organizations. You will lead the response strategy for customer‑reported issues, drive rapid root‑cause investigations, and ensure permanent corrective actions are implemented on the factory floor and in product design.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end customer quality escalation process, providing immediate, transparent communication and risk mitigation.
• Partner with global engineering, FAEs, component engineering, manufacturing and service teams to resolve field issues quickly.
• Track and optimize quality metrics such as DPPM, DPU, AWR and on‑time response.
• Feed root‑cause findings back into DFMEA, PFMEA and control plans to prevent recurrence.
• Host and lead customer‑driven factory audits, line walks and quarterly business reviews.
• Monitor field data loops and manufacturing statistics to identify performance drifts and drive preventive quality control through data analytics.
• Design and track a long‑term quality roadmap, manufacturing standardizations, NPI quality control processes and COPQ reduction strategies.
• Support scaling of the QA team to sustain rapid business growth without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in customer and product quality within data‑center infrastructure or related industries.
• 3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience leading cross‑functional quality initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Deep expertise in structured problem solving and a solid grasp of electrical product architecture and manufacturing quality standards.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
