Customer Quality Manager – HSIO Cables

About the role

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is seeking a Customer Quality Manager for HSIO Cables. The role involves direct interaction with customers and contract manufacturers across China and Northern Vietnam, ensuring product quality and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all quality‑related aspects of customer relationships, including corrective action processes.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers on quality concerns and improvement plans.
• Lead resolution of customer quality issues in collaboration with teams at Nantong, Shanghai, and Hanoi facilities.
• Drive customer‑focused communication, presentations, and reporting.
• Monitor and analyse quality data, recommending improvement activities across regional sites.
• Oversee documentation review, process capability assessments, and participation in engineering phase‑gate reviews.
• Develop and deliver quality training for customers and internal programs.
• Travel up to 35% to manufacturing corridors and customer sites as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience with a strong customer focus.
• Proven people‑management and leadership abilities.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and business‑level English.

Required skills

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred).
• Experience with DMAIC and 8D problem‑solving methodologies.
• Continuous improvement and quality management program expertise.
• Ability to interpret product documentation, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of semiconductor and interconnect industry manufacturing processes and standards.
