Country Medical Manager (Giredestrant)

About the role

Roche is looking for a Country Medical Manager (CMM) in Shanghai for Giredestrant. The CMM is an externally focused, scientifically grounded partner in the company's customer engagement model, building trusted relationships with key top-tier customers and anticipating and optimizing medical practice so that Roche is a preferred partner in key disease areas. The role maximizes local and cross-country medical and scientific activities to accelerate the delivery of the pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute strong scientific, medical and therapeutic expertise to differentiate the pipeline and act as a medical expert throughout the product life cycle.
• Lead the medical part of the integrated strategy, shaping a differentiated value story locally and communicating Roche's contributions across key disease areas.
• Proactively engage top-tier TAEs and other key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for some customers and driving healthcare system change and earlier, broader adoption.
• Build peer-to-peer relationships, develop science-driven collaborations, and provide integrated medical education plans and high-quality, non-promotional scientific exchanges.
• Generate insights on the disease area and indication, including through scientific advisory boards, and turn them into actionable recommendations for the franchise team.
• Ensure all medical activities comply with corporate policies, local regulations, GCP and GVP.
• Take part in developing the local integrated evidence plan, including a local evidence gap analysis, and contribute to evidence generation such as interventional, non-interventional and investigator-initiated studies and real-world evidence projects.
• Support clinical operations and legal/regulatory teams on Phase I-IV clinical studies, including site engagement and selected site visits.
