Construction Manager

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Construction Manager to join the Fabrication Department of the COMP2 Project. The role involves overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of on‑shore and offshore fabrication activities, ensuring safety, quality and performance targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the overall fabrication project setup, including production and erection sequences, layouts and mobilization strategies.
• Coordinate production activities in the yard, ensuring information flow between Fabrication Project Managers, Yard Project Managers and the Production department.
• Support identification of technical solutions and represent Production in client interactions.
• Lead HSE initiatives, promote safe work practices and contribute to the preparation of HSE plans and manuals.
• Plan and control project tools, equipment and personnel to optimise resources and achieve target performance factors/KPIs.
• Assist in project planning and scheduling, updating work schedules and mobilisation plans.
• Supervise subcontractor and direct‑hire works, approve progress and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate all disciplines up to pre‑commissioning and support the commissioning department.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction or fabrication project management, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of production planning, resource optimisation and KPI monitoring.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and quality control processes.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractor performance.
• Excellent communication skills for client and internal stakeholder interaction.
