Chief Security Officer (CSO)

About the role

As the top security leader of Coins, you will define and execute the company’s security strategy across digital currency exchange, payment services, and global operations. You will protect the platform, its users, and its reputation while ensuring compliance with worldwide security regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short‑term and long‑term security strategy, roadmap, and risk appetite aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and continuously improve security governance, policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
• Lead security risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews; report findings to the CEO and board.
• Integrate security into product design, technology development, and business operations (Shift‑Left Security).
• Build and operate a comprehensive cyber‑security ecosystem covering network, application, endpoint, cloud, blockchain, on‑chain, and wallet security.
• Manage the Security Operations Center (SOC) with real‑time monitoring, threat detection, and incident response for attacks such as phishing, DDoS, ransomware, data breaches, and on‑chain exploits.
• Drive security technology research and adoption, including AI‑driven threat intelligence, automated vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and SOAR.
• Protect core systems (trading, payment, wallet, user data) from vulnerabilities, data leaks, and malicious activity.

Required profile

• Top security leader responsible for formulating and implementing the overall security strategy.
• Experience overseeing security across digital‑currency or financial‑services environments.
• Strong understanding of global security‑related regulatory requirements.
