About the role
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to lead our bakery operations within a luxury hotel environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily pastry production, maintain quality standards, and support cost management.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook bakery items while handling additional assigned tasks.
- Maintain effective communication with the Head Chef of the bakery, relaying internal and guest feedback promptly.
- Ensure compliance with hotel and departmental regulations, procedures, and food safety standards.
- Uphold high quality standards for pastries and breads, strictly controlling product quality.
- Assist the Head Chef in budgeting bakery costs and managing gross margin.
- Provide technical guidance and training to staff based on individual strengths.
- Complete other duties delegated by the Head Chef.
Required profile
- Minimum of 2 years management experience in a Western-style bakery or pastry department.
- Familiarity with Western pastry and bread production, with a creative mindset for innovation.
Required skills
- Western pastry preparation.
- Bread baking techniques.
