CEO - AI Finance

About the role

BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a CEO of its AI Finance business. The role builds and owns an AI-native finance business, identifying where AI can fundamentally improve how consumers manage money and building products across spending, saving, investing and other everyday financial needs. It is a remote position open to global candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Define the AI Finance product strategy, roadmap and business model.
• Identify financial workflows where AI can materially improve user experience, cost or speed.
• Build AI-native financial products from concept through launch and scale.
• Own P&L, customer growth, revenue, unit economics and operating performance.
• Work closely with product, engineering and AI teams on product capabilities and user experience.
• Build the core team across product, technology, operations and commercial functions.
• Expand into new financial products and markets as the business grows.

Required profile

• Strong experience building consumer fintech, financial services or technology products.
• Direct ownership of a meaningful product, business or P&L.
• Experience building products and teams in high-growth technology environments.
• Hands-on operating style, able to work directly through product, AI capabilities, economics and customer problems.
• Comfortable working in a distributed, fast-moving international team across time zones.
• Strong English communication, as English is the main working language.
