Cargo Supervisor (Chengdu)

About the role

The Cargo Supervisor will lead a team of agents at Etihad Airways' Chengdu hub, ensuring smooth and efficient airport cargo operations. This role involves close coordination with maintenance, guest services, and airline partners to meet performance and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise airport resources and equipment to guarantee timely execution of operations in line with safety procedures and policies.
• Coordinate, control, and oversee handling and network operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Provide clear operating instructions to the team for timely and compliant activity execution.
• Monitor and align operational timeliness and accuracy with KPIs and internal/external regulations.
• Oversee Etihad Airways and other airlines' turnaround operations to improve on‑time performance at the hub.
• Manage extraordinary loading operations, ensuring compliance with carrier procedures and regulations.
• Conduct briefing and de‑briefing sessions to identify improvement areas.

Required profile

• Preferably a degree‑level education.
• Minimum of 4 years of operational experience in airline, cargo, or ground handling operations.
