Business Development Manager – SME

About the role

FCM is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition of small‑and‑medium enterprise (SME) clients across Asia. You will own the end‑to‑end sales journey, using a challenger sales approach to help companies manage travel more intelligently.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and total transaction value (TTV) targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting key SME prospects.
• Identify, evaluate and prioritize new business opportunities through cold‑calling, networking and creative prospecting.
• Present FCM solutions to decision‑makers, write value‑driven proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Maintain a strong pipeline, accurately forecast revenue and ensure seamless handover to account management.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Product and HR to resolve client‑related matters.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM to track activity, analyse performance and drive improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven B2B sales success (travel industry experience a plus).
• Relationship builder with strong strategic networking abilities.
• Self‑motivated, independent and results‑oriented.
• Confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Commercially savvy with ability to analyse financial data and build business cases.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM platform.
