Automotive Onsite LQA Tester (English/Chinese to Russian)

About the role

We are seeking freelance linguists to join our automotive client’s on‑site team in Beijing. The role focuses on linguistic quality assurance (LQA) for localized in‑vehicle HMI/IVI systems, mobile applications, and interactive UI pages, covering the English/Chinese to Russian language pair.

Key responsibilities

• Perform LQA testing of vehicle HMI/IVI, mobile apps, and UI screens.
• Identify and report linguistic and UI issues such as accuracy, terminology, consistency, style, and truncation/overflow.
• Suggest corrective actions and document findings using the provided issue‑reporting tools.
• Collaborate with the localization team to ensure high‑quality releases.

Required profile

• Freelance linguist with native‑level Russian and strong English and Chinese skills.
• Mandatory experience in automotive translation.
• Preferred background in LQA or localization testing.
• Detail‑oriented and comfortable using issue‑reporting templates.
• Available to work on‑site in Beijing, Monday‑Friday, 8 hours per day within core business hours.
