Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen the security of vehicle electronic and communication systems. The role involves analyzing threats, developing security concepts, and supporting prototype and series production of connected vehicle systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analysis of E/E and ECU architectures for threats (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment).
• Development of innovative cybersecurity concepts and functions for vehicle systems according to standards and current threats.
• Derive requirements for the implementation of the security concept.
• Deliver ideas for security solutions to secure prototypes and series production of connected systems in and around the vehicle.

Required profile

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, mathematics, physics or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in the automotive industry with knowledge of current automotive technologies (hardware, software, communications, etc.).
• High analytical and conceptual skills together with good communication and collaborative abilities.
• Proficient English language skills.

• ISO/SAE 21434 standard.
• ISO 27001 standard.
• Vehicle encryption techniques.
• Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
